Admission inquiries are welcomed directly from individuals, family members, physicians and clinicians. Please call us at 1-800-750-0236, and our admissions director will be available to discuss your needs. Some pre-admission assessments may be necessary to evaluate the individual's level of functioning and help us match the client to the best type of treatment. Due to the community nature of Wild Acre Inns programs, all admissions are made on a voluntary basis.

Wild Acre Inns is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Department of Mental Health (DMH).  The Babcock, Belmont, Gateway and Lexington programs are accredited by The Joint Commission.

The staff at all of our locations are MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certified. MAP was implemented to increase the safety and security of medication administration for individuals with mental illness or mental retardation living in licensed or certified community-based residences.

What clinical paperwork do I need for the admission process?

  • Copy of insurance card
  • List of medications
  • Physical evaluation
  • TB verification
  • Psych-social evaluation
  • Health Care Provider orders (Wild Acre Inns will provide) signed by a MD

What is the admission process?

  • Referrer to verify insurance/financial
  • Send clinical paperwork via fax to 781-648-2859
  • Determine if program is clinically appropriate for client
  • Either a direct admission or set up an interview for placement
  • Admission
