 The
day treatment programs are focused to provide therapeutic support
and intensive case management for the client's specific needs. As
part  of
Wild Acre Inns' Continuum of Care, day program participation becomes
an integral component of the overall treatment plan for each client.
Participants in the day treatment programs are allowed the opportunity
to stay in their familiar home or residential environment and maintain
activities in the community such as work or school, while having the
therapeutic experiences needed for early intervention and assessment,
symptom reduction, and coping and life skills development. All of
this adds up to a flexible and individualized form of treatment that
shortens or avoids hospital stays, lowers cost, and provides a gateway
to independence.
