Supportive Living Programs - Gateway Home  
  The Gateway Home is designed for the more independently functioning individual who requires moderate supports. The Gateway Home is part of the Gateway Complex, which consists of a community home and shared apartment living. It provides supportive living in a residential setting that continues to promote independent development. The program is directed towards the individual in need of autonomy as well as sustained support.

Features of the Program


The Gateway Home is suited for the individual who is functioning independently but also needs supervision.
A communal atmosphere is provided by client participation in meal preparation, evening meals, community chores, group check-in meetings, weekly house meetings and outings.
Program directed and supervised by a licensed master's level clinician.
Clinician and support staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Clients are required to maintain 25-30 hours of independent activities weekly.
Emphasis is placed on increasing social interactions and awareness, developing higher functioning skills and familiarity with current events.
Monthly group outing, holiday social events and summer barbecues.
Ongoing substance abuse and nutritional supports.
Coordinator meetings with active case management and regular group check-in meetings.
Collaborative contact with residential and outpatient treaters to provide consistent and effective treatment.
Limited supervision of client medication.
