The Belmont Program is a moderately-structured residential program which provides a nurturing environment for clients. Belmont encourages clients to transition to more independent living, and provides opportunities for individual growth and development.
Features of the Wild Acre Inns Belmont Program
Program directed and supervised by a master’s level clinician
Daily medication monitoring
24-hour staffing with trained mental health counselors to provide consistency and support
A staff coordinator assists clients with the development of their goals for their stay at the Belmont House and coordination of their treatment with the treatment team
Clients work towards the goal of a 20-hour per week activity which can include a day treatment program, school, volunteer work or a job
Community meals provide encouragement to actively participate in the house community
Clients are provided with a warm, nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and the attainment of goals
A weekly outing is available to clients with such activities as bowling, miniature golf, and trips to the zoo
Program is situated in a pleasant, suburban neighborhood with ready access to public transportation
