Gateway Residential Supportive Living Program Residential Mental Health Treatment Programs
The Gateway Program is designed for the more independently functioning individual who requires moderate supports. The Gateway Program consists of a community home and shared apartment living – Gateway Annex. It provides supportive living in a residential setting that continues to promote independent development. The program is directed towards the individual in need of autonomy as well as sustained support.

Features of the Gateway Supportive Living Program:
Gateway is suited for the individual who is functioning independently but also needs supervision
A communal atmosphere is provided by client participation in meal preparation, evening meals, community chores, weekly house meetings and outings
Program directed and supervised by a licensed master's level clinician
Clinician and support staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Monthly group outing, holiday social events and summer barbecues
Ongoing substance abuse and nutritional supports
Clients are required to maintain 25 – 30 hours of structure per week such as, employment, volunteering, school, day program, regular outpatient appointments, etc
Emphasis is placed on increasing social interaction and awareness, developing higher functioning skills which will enable client to live independently
Weekly individual coordinator meetings which provide ongoing support and case management
Collaborative contact with families, residential, and outpatient treaters to provide consistent and effective treatment
Limited supervision of clients medication with the hope of the client obtaining 100% medication independence.
